Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Printulse collects, why, and how you can control it. It applies to the printulse.com website and, once launched, to the Printulse file verification service.

1. Who is responsible for your data

Printulse is an individual business (auto-entrepreneur, in registration) operated by Elena Tkachova, based in Ardennes, France. For any question about this policy or your data, contact:

Once business registration is complete, the SIRET number and registered address will be added here.

2. What data we collect today (pre-launch)

At this stage Printulse is a waitlist page. We collect:

Email address — if you join the waitlist, to notify you when the service launches.
Analytics data — via Google Analytics (GA4): pages visited, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and how you found the site. This data is pseudonymous and tied to a cookie identifier, not your name.

3. What data we will collect once the service launches

Printulse will let you upload print files (PDF and similar) for automated pre-press verification. When that feature is live, we will also process:

Uploaded files — stored temporarily to run the check, then deleted. Current retention limit: 24 hours after upload, maximum file size 100 MB.
File scan results — each uploaded file is checked for malware via the VirusTotal API before processing.
Account data — email, and if you subscribe to a paid plan, billing information handled by our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and handles EU VAT.

This policy will be updated with exact retention and processing details before the paid product goes live, and you will be notified of material changes.

5. Who we share data with

We do not sell your data. We share it only with service providers who process it on our behalf:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Ltd.) — website usage analytics.
Vercel Inc. — website hosting.
VirusTotal (Google) — malware scanning of uploaded files.
Lemon Squeezy — payment processing and VAT handling, once paid plans are active.

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU (notably the US). Where that happens, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent adequacy mechanism, as required by GDPR.

6. How long we keep your data

Waitlist email: until you unsubscribe or the waitlist closes.
Analytics data: per Google Analytics default retention (currently 14 months).
Uploaded files: deleted automatically 24 hours after upload.
Account and billing data: kept for the duration of your subscription plus the period required by French accounting law (currently 10 years for invoices).

7. Your rights

Under GDPR, you have the right to:

Access the data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict certain processing
Request a copy of your data in a portable format
Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing done before withdrawal)

To exercise any of these rights, email printulse@gmail.com. We will respond within one month, as required by law.

If you believe your data protection rights have not been respected, you can lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, CNIL.

8. Cookies

The site uses cookies for analytics (Google Analytics). You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies does not affect your ability to use the site or join the waitlist.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), malware scanning of uploaded files, and automatic deletion of files after the retention period. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute protection.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves, in particular when the file verification service and paid plans launch. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the latest version. Significant changes will be communicated by email to waitlist subscribers.
